Based out of Ann Arbor, MI
Erica. 28 years old. Michigan Filmmaker.
What I am enjoying the most in this world right now: film photography, early morning coffee and a crossword puzzle, raising our new kitten, training for a half-marathon (love/hate), learning how to cook the best meals I've had in restaurants, and advocating for what is right and just.
I'm originally from Dayton, Ohio and am deeply rooted in midwestern value: honest, humble, and good people who live simply and work hard.
I'm married to the greatest guy in the world and we live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We met post-grad volunteering in the hollows of Appalachia in January 2014 and married in June 2019. We love cooking, camping, exploring new cities, board games, and our families.
I've been documenting stories for couples and businesses since 2018 and I hope to do this for the rest of my life. My mom filmed my and my sister's upbringing on a 1980’s, clunky, JVC camcorder. I'll never forget the feeling I had when I watched these videos for the first time. The candid moments captured on those home tapes made me realize how invaluable documenting is and the magic that comes when those moments are shared.

I work at Springfield Clinic on their production team: storyboarding, scripting, filming, and editing with other producers, videographers, photographers, and graphic designers - I am so grateful as this perfectly matches my career goals of working with a team and telling beautiful stories. I'm overjoyed to be working with these remarkable individuals - they are the most talented, creative, and inspiring folks I have ever met.
